About Me

I grew up in a tiny village of two hundred people in Eastern Germany. What followed was anything but predictable.

When the Wall came down, I was a teenager. Overnight, my mother, my little sister and I moved 700 kilometres from everything we knew — new city, new system, new life. That was my first big change. It wouldn't be my last.

In my twenties, I worked three years at Bayer Leverkusen, one of Germany's top football clubs. Then came Barcelona — seven years in one of the most vibrant cities in the world, working in experiential marketing. New language, new culture, high complexity. I loved every minute of it.

Then life brought me to Norway. That was 20 years ago. I'm still here — it's home. I built a company from scratch and sold it. I even made the front page of Finansavisen as a successful founder — something I'm genuinely proud of, because I never dreamt it would be possible for me.

I've travelled into the most remote corners of the Himalayas. I've sat at tables with backpackers, executives, musicians, founders and philosophers — and had the same quality of conversation with all of them, because I was genuinely interested in who they were.

What I learned

Somewhere along the way, I developed something no course teaches and no framework captures: the ability to read people. Being the one who gets them — and also the one who gets them out of their comfort zone, to take the next important step.

I've had my successes, and I've loved every one of them. But the chapters that shaped me most were the transitions in between — the moments when I thought, what the hell am I doing here. I've moved countries, learned languages, started over more than once. After years as a high performer, my body made me stop. It felt like the heaviest failure of all — until it became one of the most important chapters of my life.

Those moments taught me more about people, leadership and human nature than any success did.

What shapes my work

Most coaching draws from one tradition — one methodology, one school of thought. Mine doesn't.

My professional coaching foundation comes from five intensive training modules at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in London, one of the world's most rigorous coach-training institutions and accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the leading global standard in the profession. I completed the training between 2018 and 2022 — Co-Active Coaching Fundamentals, followed by Fulfillment, Balance, Synergy and Process.

I have also had the privilege of working with Isabelle Tschumi in Switzerland. CTI gave me one valuable method. With Isabelle, I learned a different approach that complemented CTI beautifully, giving me both a profound understanding and a roadmap to put it into practice. Her methodology brings together psychology, physics, metaphysics and Eastern philosophy in a precise, structured framework that goes beyond conventional coaching.

My perspective is further shaped by Buddhist psychology, Taoism and the teachings of Shi Heng Yi on self-mastery, discipline and stillness.

None of these stands alone in my work. I draw from them alongside something that can only come from experience — building and selling a company, working across cultures and industries, navigating profound change myself, and leading others through it.

Western thinking meets Eastern wisdom.

Training meets experience.

Structure meets intuition.

I don't follow one textbook because people don't come from one textbook.

I am not A4

Never was. Never will be.
